What You'll Learn:

Your registration gives you more than admission—it gives hope. Join us on Fibromyalgia Awareness Day to help break the silence, support educational programs for people living with fibromyalgia and the healthcare providers who care for them, and bring understanding to those who need it most. Be the reason someone feels seen.

Our Mission:
closing the gap  between research & relief.

Since 2001, the Fibromyalgia Association has hosted Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, helping fast-track trusted information to people living with fibromyalgia and the healthcare professionals who support them.

With a personal connection to fibromyalgia, cartoonist Dave Coverly generously partnered with the Fibromyalgia Association to help mark its 25th Annual Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. His witty cartoon highlights a serious issue: the long delay between research discoveries and real relief for patients. Funny—but painfully true. Research has shown that it can take an average of 17 years for evidence-based findings to become part of routine clinical practice. For decades, the Fibromyalgia Association has recognized this gap and made it our mission to help place trusted knowledge into the hands of patients and the healthcare providers who care for them.

This special print is now available on limited-edition Fibromyalgia Awareness Day shirts. Show your support for fibromyalgia awareness by purchasing a shirt and helping spread the message.

Dave is the creator of the internationally syndicated cartoon panel Speed Bump. His award-winning work has appeared in hundreds of newspapers, including The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Detroit Free Press, and many others.

A special thank-you as well to talented colorist Ron Raff for bringing the cartoon to life.
