The Fibromyalgia Association, a nonprofit founded in 1997, offers support, education, and advocacy for those with fibromyalgia. Originally “of Michigan,” it now represents members nationwide and beyond. Founded by Sharon Waldrop, who transformed from bedridden to rock climbing, the group aims to empower individuals to live their best lives. “Healing is possible,” Waldrop asserts, emphasizing the importance of early access to top resources for managing this complex condition.
